Call your senators this week and tell them to reject the SAVE Act - use our phone script!
President Trump is trying to do everything he can to fast-track passage of voter suppression legislation commonly known as the SAVE Act. This week, senators are going to debate and attempt to pass this legislation.
This legislation is a vehicle for voter suppression deceptively proposed as an ‘election integrity’ measure to ‘secure elections. This attempt at curtailing voting rights will weaken long-trusted parts of our electoral process and needlessly create barriers that disenfranchise eligible voters, like the tens of millions of married people who’ve changed their surnames, people who have changed addresses, and rural voters.
